The Choice is Yours

How often have you gazed at jewellery in the window of a shop only to find you love the jewellery but don’t like that clasp, or it’s not ‘quite right’ ?  I do it quite a lot.

So I thought a lot about flexibility when designing Kyrene Designs jewellery so you can quite often have an item in gold (using goldfill or vermeil (see precious metals) – instead of silver; or a different length, and maybe a bracelet to match.  Or have beads in between the pearls and gems, (or not) etc, there are lots of possibilities!   And it’s very hard to get that choice on the high street or even online from large commercial websites.

Generally I like to use a hook clasp on a necklace as it’s an easy clasp to do up, with an extender chain to fit your neckline, but not everyone likes these fittings, so you can have other clasps like a trigger catch,  a toggle or other types.

Bracelets are irritating if they do not fit properly; maybe you have smaller or larger wrists than the standard sizes. I make bracelets to fit me perfectly as I have small wrists and the average size is useless.  Just measure your wrist as shown in sizing for made-to-measure bracelets.

Customers often ask me about earrings and many preferences can be catered for – if you prefer hooks or posts these can be changed, and if you have non-pierced ears, clip earrings of all types can be requested.  Broad smiles adorn the faces of delighted ladies when they have my clip earrings as these are so hard to find elsewhere.

And for those with earring allergies, your problems may well be over, did you know there are metals for jewellery making which are highly inert i.e. seriously hypoallergenic which are not available on the mainstream jewellery market? (and I am not talking about stainless steel).  So please do mention this to anyone you know who is allergic to jewellery as there is hope!

It’s easy to advise you on your requirements.  Do use the contact form or email  sales@kyrenedesigns.com.
